What is in the Concise Version of Scholar Profiles?

The Concise Version of Scholar Universe is the trimmed down version of the Subscriber Version of a Scholar Universe profile. Concise Versions of profiles contain more detailed information on an author than is typically available with citations, such as multiple affiliations, educational pedigree, and a partial expertise statement. In addition, the Concise Version of Scholar Profiles may include a partial publication list from which you can link to authors also connected to the article or to possible matching authors.

Each concise Scholar Profile displays slightly differently depending on the information available on the full profile; the box in the right-hand side of the Scholar Profile will let you know some of the additional information that is available on the Subscriber Version of the particular Profile you are viewing. Subscribers to Scholar Universe have access to other features including the Community Tree and advanced options that allow you to limit your keyword search to scholars in a specific discipline, region or even degree or title. What is in the Partial Publication list?

The Concise Version of profile includes no more than five publications from the complete list available on the Subscriber Version of the Scholar Profile.

Publications appearing on a Scholar Profile have been verified as being authored by the scholar. The publications may also include links to verified co-authors whose Profiles can be perused. In addition, you may see highly likely links to possible matching co-authors and their profiles.
