Co-Authors

Co-Authors are other scholars in Scholar Universe who are verified as one of the authors of a publication on a given scholar profile. On a scholar profile you can view the list of that person's co-authors by clicking on the link from the scholar network portion of the profile or by clicking on the Co-Authors tab.

You can jump over to one of the co-authors by clicking on any scholar name on the list. You can also link to a co-author profile from the publications list by clicking on the boldfaced linked names associated with a publication.

2^nd and 3^rd Level Co-Authors

The scholars listed as co-authors on the scholar profile may have their own co-authors. These scholars are one degree removed from the original scholar whose profile is being viewed and are therefore the 2^nd co-authors. By clicking on the 2^nd Level co-authors link you can view a complete list of all those scholars. Once again, you can click on any name to view that person's scholar profile.

Taking the network one step further, 3^rd level co-authors are those people with scholar profiles who are verified as an author of a publication in common with the 2nd level co-authors. You can explore the people on this list by clicking on the names to view the scholar profiles.

Departmental Colleagues

This displays the active faculty members who are affiliated with the same department(s) of the scholar whose profile is being viewed.
